Simplification: Reflecting, Relaxing and Letting Go
3 - 10 June 2025, Online
In this course, we will explore how to align our time, energy, and resources in the light of the Ministry of our meeting. Participants will come together to learn a gifts discernment process that can be taken back and applied within your own community.
We will introduce a gifts discernment process designed to help both individuals and meetings recognise their part of our Quaker work in the world. This approach clarifies personal leadings and enables the meeting as a whole to understand its unique role. By acknowledging and embracing our specific gifts, we need to trust that other aspects of Quaker work will be upheld by those better suited to them, leading to a process of letting go or laying down some of the work we have been holding.
Through collaborative exercises and thoughtful dialogue, we will work through this process together, using your own meeting as an example. This approach can lead to a sense of relief and the laying down of burdens, releasing energy to engage more fully in our service to the world.
The live sessions take place at 19:00-21:00 (UK time) on Tuesdays 3 and 10 June
