Rufus Jones: pioneer of Liberal Quakerism

Rufus Jones (1863-1948) had a profound influence on Quakers on both sides of the Atlantic. This session provides a brief introduction to his life and thought.
This session will explore why Jones was so influential, and take a critical look at his innovative approach to Quaker history and theology. By providing an insight into the roots of contemporary Quakerism, this session will give you a better understanding of Liberal Quakerism today.
This 90-minute session will combine talks, discussion and time for questions.
