Help your meeting engage confidently with 'Our Quaker Way', the new draft Book of Discipline. This practical session explores how to plan opportunities for Friends to read, reflect and respond together in ways that suit your local context.
Every meeting is different. Some may wish to organise study groups, others worship-sharing, creative activities or facilitated conversations. This session will help clerks, elders, pastoral teams and other Friends think creatively about how best to support their meeting's engagement.
We'll introduce the range of resources available, explore different models for local participation and consider practical questions such as timing, accessibility, inclusion and encouraging broad involvement.
Quaker discernment flourishes when everyone is prepared to participate. By thoughtfully considering your meeting's engagement with the draft, you can help create the conditions for deep listening, generous conversation and faithful discernment.
