Quaker Visions of God

This course explores diverse visions of God found in Liberal Quaker communities today. Each weekly session offers Friends stories, images and tools for deepening their relationship with the Spirit experienced in their Quaker tradition.
What treasures do Friends have when speaking about God? What stories help or hinder us in our spiritual journey?
Each of the four weekly sessions will be structured around some prepared ministry from Ben and Windy, delving into their sources of spiritual inspiration, their struggles, and ongoing questions. Through this testimony (and corresponding activities) Friends will be invited to consider:
The goal of this course is to deepen and enlarge participants' appreciation of theological sources, practices and themes. Friends will be encouraged to find in their own biographies the seeds of renewed spiritual growth and self-discovery.
