JAN 12

Loving Earth Project exhibition

12 January - 7 February 2021

The Loving Earth Project's first gallery-hosted exhibition is now online at Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre until 7th February. 90 textile panels celebrate what we love and what we will do for their sake to address the eco-crisis.
A number of free online events , hosted by Quaker Arts Network, Woodbrooke and others.

The Loving Earth Project aims to help people engage creatively with the environmental crisis without being overwhelmed or judged. The project is Quaker -led but open to all. The touring exhibition continues to grow, and our workshops help people people wishing to make their own panels to join it (whatever your level of textile skill). Online chats and discussions based around the project are also planned and our website has resources to enable you to get going on your own. Event for Quaker Meetings and other groups can be arranged.
We hope to take the exhibition to Glasgow for COP26 and touring thereafter.
All are welcome to join the project. Making a panel is an excellent activity during lockdown, to help build a more sustainable future for the common good.
See our website http://lovingearth-project.uk for details of events and resources including in other langages.
