Drawing Hope: Children's art for peace
23 February - 3 April 2026, London
Drawing Hope: Children's art for peace is a global peace initiative that delivers messages of hope through children's artwork for intergenerational dialogue.
This exhibition is in collaboration with Okedongmu Children in Korea, an organisation dedicated to transforming conflict into a peaceful future on the Korean peninsula. The exhibition has recently been shown at the UN in New York. It includes drawings from children living in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, Colombia, South Africa, Cambodia, Ireland the USA, Japan and China.
The Drawing Hope website has more information about the project. We hope children in Britain will see the exhibition and wish to contribute their own drawings of hope for peace.
The official launch event is in the evening on Tuesday, 3 March with
- Dong Jin Kim (Jin)
- Kim Dae Jung Chair, Professor of Peace Studies at Hanshin University, Republic of Korea
- Jennifer Deibert, Program Director DPRK for American Friends Service Committee
Please email qpsw@quaker.org.uk if you would like to come to the launch.
