The Book of Discipline Revision Committee met to discuss the latest progress in updating Quaker Faith & Practice ready for a new draft text to be presented to Yearly Meeting in 2027.

Yearly Meeting Agenda Committee 24-26 January 2025
13 February 2025
Yearly Meeting Agenda Committee (YMAC) had its latest meeting to discuss plans for Yearly Meeting 2025. This included refining programming around the theme of the Quaker peace testimony for participants of all ages, ensuring elder and pastoral care support will be in place, and reviewing progress on recruiting volunteers for key Yearly Meeting roles.

Quaker Life Central Committee (QLCC) met to discuss which Quaker groups should grant membership, the Quaker marriage declaration and plans to review our strategy for supporting Quaker communities.

QPSWCC meeting 30 November 2024

Quaker Peace & Social Witness Central Committee (QPSWCC) meet to hear about Quaker work for peace and climate justice. In particular, it discussed our work to build peace and counter violence and division in Britain today.

Meeting for Sufferings (MfS) considered: threats to non-violent protest; AM minutes; a report from the Book of Discipline Revision Committee; Terms of Reference for new Agenda Committee; a recommendation to Yearly Meeting about appointments; and received reports from Quaker Council for European Affairs and Quaker World Relations Committee.

Britain Yearly Meeting Trustees (BYMT) met to discuss the new operational plan and received various reports including reparations and central structures.
