Prejudice & Disadvantage in Criminal Justice
24 - 26 February 2023, Leeds
This conference, organised by Quakers in Criminal Justice, will look at the over representation of disadvantaged groups within the Criminal Justice system
This is a weekend residential course which will be opened by Bishop James Jones who will speak on the Commission he led exploring victims views on sentencing and lack of closure.
We will share input from the Leeds Gypsy / Roma / Traveller community and reflect on the topic of Prison Abolition through Mike Nellis, Woodbrooke tutor.
The conference is a networking opportunity for all Friends interested or involved in the Criminal Justice system.
