Agenda Planning Committee develops plans for Yearly Meeting from July 2026.
What is this committee responsible for?
Agenda Planning Committee is responsible for planning the agenda for Yearly Meeting sessions from July 2026 onwards. From this year, Britain Yearly Meeting will hold up to four Yearly Meeting sessions per year, one of which will be a multi-day event. Any Quaker in Britain can register to attend. Agenda Planning Committee has been working since June 2025 to prepare for the transition to the new system for Yearly Meetings.
What did it do at this meeting?
In February 2026, APC considered practical arrangements for the epistle, the court and prison register, practical arrangements for Yearly Meeting sessions, how Yearly Meeting can revisit and hold itself accountable for previous commitments, and to further consider the agenda for Yearly Meeting in July 2026, which will be held in Manchester.
