Militarism in society

Increasingly, our society is being militarised, sometimes almost without our noticing. As Quakers, how can we respond to the rising tide of militarisation into our communities, our schools, the media. Our testimonies to peace, truth and equality demand that we speak out. Over the weekend we shall be following three strands: community covenants, education, and language and media. We will work out strategies for our response and build networks for mutual support.
