Hampshire & Islands Area Meeting – 11 Local Meetings and 2 Worshipping Groups – now has two new staff directly supporting its administration and outreach, each employed for 21 hours a week. These roles relieve pressure on roleholders and give Friends more time.

Friends from Area Meetings in Bristol, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall gathered together on a sunny day in March in Taunton Meeting House. Some Friends also joined online for the day which was hosted by Ollie Waterhouse (Quaker Life Team Leader) and Jac Blacker (Local Development Worker).

Malvern Meeting restart children's meeting
Malvern Local Meeting have recently started a regular children's meeting, to coincide with their monthly shared lunch. A group of Friends has been busy planning and organising, with support from their Local Development Worker. The first children's meeting was in January 2024. Children's meeting is now every fourth Sunday at 10.30am.

More than three hundred young Quakers have contributed to a book summing up how they see Quakerism. Called Living our beliefs, it is available from the Quaker Centre Bookshop and as an ebook at www.yqspace.org.uk/living-our-beliefs.
