Who can attend

Who can attend Yearly Meeting 2020?

Members and Attenders of Britain Yearly Meeting are welcome to attend online Yearly Meeting. The capacity for the meeting is 1,000 Friends. To ensure the online security of the meeting and our participants, Friends must register in advance. Members will need to provide their name, email address, and their meeting details. Attenders are welcome to attend Yearly Meeting and do not have to seek the consent of an Elder of their AM.

Registration will open on 29 October at 12pm, and close on 10 November at midnight. Please be aware that there is no children and young people's programme at the online Yearly Meeting. All participants under the age of 18 will need to provide the contact information of a responsible adult.

If you have any questions about attendance, or children and young people, please contact the Yearly Meeting Office at ym@quaker.org.uk

Friends from other yearly meetings

Visiting Friends who are in membership, but not of Britain Yearly Meeting, “may attend the sessions of the Yearly Meeting on producing a travelling minute or letter of introduction signed by the clerk of their own meeting or otherwise satisfying the clerk of their membership." ( Quaker faith & practice 6.14 (offsite link)). Please send these in advance to the Yearly Meeting Office by 10 November 2020 to allow registration to take place: ym@quaker.org.uk.
