"We are first and foremost a worshipping community, and my hope is that this Yearly Meeting will give us the opportunity not only to keep our business going, but to worship meaningfully together."
- Clare Scott Booth, Yearly Meeting clerk
Yearly Meeting Agenda Committee will be reflecting on the changes in our world and our Quaker concerns in discerning the agenda and particular focus for Yearly Meeting 2020.
Friends should be aware that Yearly Meeting 2020 will take place as a one-day online event on Sunday 15 November. Not since 1668 has anything prevented Quakers holding Yearly Meeting. The public health crisis around Covid-19 has disrupted plans for the high point of the Quaker year.
More information about the content and focus of Yearly Meeting 2020 will follow soon.
