Quaker Life Representative Council (QLRC) Autumn 2023
Bookings open for Quaker Life Representative Council (QLRC) which will be held in-person at Milton Hill House, Abingdon (OX13 6AF), and as an online blended event.
Quaker Life is holding Quaker Life Representative Council (QLRC) over the weekend of 13-15 October 2023. This conference is for area meeting and general meeting Quaker Life Representatives. We want to ensure that as many Friends can participate as possible.
The centrally nominated QLRC Planning Group, Jen Neal (convenor), Stephen Petter, Carolyn Baynes and QLCC members Zélie Gross and Susie Tombs are currently developing the programme and will be in touch with more details in due course. They hope that during our time together we will create an open and trusting space, which will be both safe and brave, where we will hear and be heard, find hope and nourishment for ourselves, and share insights, experiences and possibilities.
Due to the capacity of the venue there is only one in-person residential place available for each area meeting.
Please note the following deadlines for booking:
- bookings open – Monday 17 July 2023
- to guarantee your AM residential place – Sunday 27 August 2023
- final bookings – Sunday 10 September 2023
- payment to be made – 15 September 2023
We will be holding a waiting list for area or general meetings wishing to book a second residential place. After Sunday 27 August we will offer additional places to anyone on the waiting list.
We are required to give delegate numbers to the venue 28 days prior to the booking. Please ensure you observe these deadlines to guarantee your AM/GM can send a Representative.
