Media Training Day

3 September 2016, London

Looking ahead to Quaker Week, 1 to 9 October 2016?

Wanting to reach as wide an audience as possible?

During Quaker Week, how can we best engage with local media and social media and share our Quaker stories?

As we plan events and think about how we offer a warm welcome, here's an opportunity to learn how to publicise our Quaker faith. Expert input and advice and bring your own experience.

Media Training day Saturday 3 September at Friends House, London

After the day Friends will be able to:

  • talk more confidently about Quakers
  • clearly identify planning tasks
  • create an action plan for 'next steps' in advance of Quaker Week
  • try something new, willingly and confidently
  • develop skills in 1 or 2 different forms of media
  • see connections between Quaker faith, outreach and witness
  • identify a pool of people who could speak confidently about Quaker Week

To book your place please click the Register your place button on this page, or email outreach@quaker.org.uk.
