OCT 2

Facilitation and Leadership 2015

2 - 4 October 2015, Birmingham

Are you aged between 15 and 21? Are you interested in facilitating activities with your peers? Are you looking to become an adult volunteer at a Quaker event?

This weekend aims to help you to understand groups and the ways you could work as a facilitator and lead groups.

A previous participant said: “It's a great chance to explore more about working and 'leading' groups. Whoever is offered the experience should, without a doubt grasp the chance."

The weekend will cover a wide range of issues, from understanding groups and how to work with them through to thinking about facilitation skills, equal opportunities and being a Quaker facilitator.

If you would like to come you will need to apply by completing the online application and indicating your agreement to the community agreement.

If you are aged 17 or under the form should be completed by your parent/guardian

If you have any particular needs (allergies, learning support, mental health, physical health, physical needs and/or emotional needs) please let us know as this helps us to plan for and be aware of any needs you may have.

Please see the leaflet “Providing information about participant needs" for more details about why we ask for this information.

Please read the Community agreement and indicate that you will uphold this at the end of the application form

Please apply using the link below. Once we have received your application we will be in touch to confirm whether or not you have a place (places are allocated on a first come first served basis).
