“How can we speak truth to power?” ask young Quakers
Young Quakers from across the country are invited to examine how to release the energy of their spirituality to speak truth to power.
Bookings are now open for Junior Yearly Meeting to be held at the Frontier Centre in Northamptonshire from 1 to 4 April.
The residential weekend offers young people aged 15-18, both new to Quakers and those with more experience, the chance to explore new perspectives while enjoying themselves in a welcoming community.
Activities will include engaging with Quaker spiritual practices and ideas as well as making friends through activities such as kayaking, mountain biking and chatting around the campfire.

The event is run by young people, working with adult team members, and is open to anyone born between 1 September 2004 and 31 August 2007.
"There are few places I have been where truly everyone is accepted and included, and JYM is one of them," said one of last year's attendees.
“It's a haven for young people to engage in discussions and grow on a personal level."
Another said: "Although I have been going to meeting all my life, I wasn't entirely sure of my Quakerism until now as I have never had the opportunity to speak to other Friends my own age, but now I see my Quakerism in a new way."
This year JYM is being held separately to Yearly Meeting, the event for Quakers of all ages, but will link to issues considered there.
The theme chosen by the young people this year is: "Speaking Truth to Power: How can we release this energy to bring light to our worlds?"
Area meetings, Quaker schools and European and Middle Eastern Yearly Meetings can nominate young people to attend until 29 January. Open places are also available.
