Children and Young People’s Programme at Britain Yearly Meeting 2010: Vibrant, engaging and fun
Britain Yearly Meeting is the annual gathering for all Quakers in Britain. It is a chance to gather together, to make new friends and see old ones and to build our Quaker community. As part of Yearly Meeting there is a parallel and integrated programme for children and young people’s. The programme enables young Quakers to experience and engage with the event, exploring the topics from the Yearly Meeting agenda as well as offering the chance to worship, be creative, play games and have fun.
All places on the Children and Young People’s Programme must be booked in advance and early booking is strongly recommended.
The programme includes daily programmes on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for those aged 0-12 and residential programmes from Friday to Monday for 12-15 and 15-18 year olds.
For more information and to ask for an application form, contact Simon Best in the CYP office. Phone 020 7663 1160 or email simonb@quaker.org.uk.
