Public Issues
Upcoming General Election: One practical way in which Friends may contribute to democratic renewal at the time of the General Election is by working with other Churches and faith groups locally to organise hustings at the time of the election. A guide to the 2010 General Election issues is available on the Churches Together in Britian and Ireland website.
Economic Justice
Better World Economics is now available. It includes news of Friends’ involvement in ‘Stand Up’, reports on the Zero Growth economy conferences and a celebration of the faiths commitment to action on climate change, and an update on our work on settlement goods.

Disarmament
'Dialogue for a nuclear weapon-free world – Guidance for letter-writers' is a six-page briefing for Friends participating in the ‘Dialogue for a nuclear weapon-free world’ initiative. It explains the purpose of the initiative in more detail, offers guidance on the expected tone of letters to decision-makers and makes suggestions as to the content of opening letters.
