Young Quakers Participation Day

"Being at the Participation Day made me feel a part of Quakerism and Britain Yearly Meeting."

Young people will have their lunch with the Meeting for Sufferings representative this is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between adults and young people from the same Area Meeting. It's also chance for each of them to connect and find out about the Participation Day, Meeting for Sufferings and Yearly Meeting work.

Each Area Meeting can book up to two young people and two young adults to attend the day, the cost of travel and, where essential, accommodation will be covered from Britain Yearly Meeting funds. The day is for young people aged 14 – 21 years (born between 1.9.1996 and 31.8.2003, inclusive).

Area Meeting, Meeting for Sufferings representatives are asked to take responsibility for accompanying to the day, those young people who need it.
