Preparing for Death: Practical, ethical & Christian debate

Join us at this ecumenical gathering for a day of conversation, reflection and debate organised by London Quakers with Cardiff University.

•Advance decisions ('Living Wills') – making end of life decisions for yourself

•Providing/Withdrawing medical treatment – making decisions for those who have lost the ability to decide for themselves

•Assisted dying – legal, social and theological perspectives

Speakers include: Revd Dr John Lampard (Methodist Church), Revd Professor Paul Badham (Dignity in Dying), Robert Preston (Living and Dying well), Usha Grieve (Compassion in Dying), Dr Eva Kalmus (GP-interface medicine), Dr Ben Wood (University of Chester), Professor Jenny Kitzinger (Cardiff University), Revd Fr Dr Trevor Welland (UCL).

This event is free and there will be a collection at the end of the conference day to cover costs (benchmark £10/£5).
