Working with children and young people
The adults in a meeting have a shared responsibility for making a reality of our claim that the presence of children and young people is valued and that everybody's needs and feelings matter.

This section of the site provides ideas and inspiration, support and information for those who look after, or work with children in their meetings. The online resources and advice may be useful to non-Quakers too.
These pages are maintained by the Children and Young People's Team (CYP) based at Friends House in London. The team offers a wide range of services and resources. An example of CYP's work is their facilitation of Junior Yearly Meeting (JYM). In the video below Chris, a young Friend, tells us why JYM is so important.
To find out more about what we offer please explore the CYP section of the site. To find out more about JYM please go to the JYM pages.
For a quick view of other events please download the 2010 edition of the Young People's Calendar [PDF: 887kb - new window]. Printed copies are available on request.
