Support for Meetings

This section provides information for those taking particular responsibilities in or on behalf of a Quaker meeting.

• Clerks Local and Area meetings provides help and advice for Clerks.  
• Working with Children & Young People provides help, advice, ideas etc for those helping to run meetings and groups for young people.
• For those working with vulnerable people there are new forms and procedures from the Churches Safeguarding Agency in Meeting Safety.
• Meetings Records and Libraries provides information and advice for the custodian of records and meeting librarian.
• Outreach offers help to those who are thinking about publicising Quakerism locally.
• A series of leaflets give guidance on inter-church and inter-faith encounters for Meetings
• Pastoral Care offers help and advice to those wanting to know about eldership and oversight, or some other form of caring in a Quaker meeting.
• Property Matters provides information about the care and maintenance of Friends Meeting Houses and other properties.
• Prison Ministers gives information about Quaker Prison ministers.
• Treasurers and Collectors assists those looking after the financial needs of meetings.
• Wardens offers information about the employment of Wardens, Caretakers and Resident Friends at Quaker properties.
• University Chaplains offers contacts for people who are starting college or university this year.
