The vision of the Fairtrade Foundation is ‘a world in which justice and sustainable development are at the heart of trade structures and practices so that everyone, through their work, can maintain a decent and dignified livelihood and develop their full potential’.

In November 2008 QPSW Central Committee accepted the proposal that QPSW join the Fairtrade Foundation’s Fairtrade Churches Stakeholders Scheme.

This are currently 13 organisations commited to the principles of the Fairtrade Foundation, promoting Fairtrade and helping their members and supporters to do the same.

Other Stakeholders include organisations such as Christian Aid, Traidcraft and CAFOD.
