Other Fundraising Projects
The Library is currently raising funds to support the following projects:
Retrospective cataloguing project
The Retrospective Cataloguing Project aims to create an online catalogue for the Library's holdings of printed books and periodicals. Since the start of the project in 2002 we have catalogued about 60% of the Library's printed collections online with grants from a range of charitable trusts. Some of the Library's 19th & 20th century printed collections – up to ca. 1970, remain to be added.
Digitisation project
We are seeking funding to support the digitisation of the Library's collection of 350 peace posters dating from the 1930's to the present day. Most of the posters were issued by the Friends Peace Committee, Quaker Peace and Service and the Friends Service Council and represent the largest collection of Quaker peace posters held in a single location. Digitisation will open up the collection for use by Friends, campaigners and researchers and will contribute to the posters long term preservation.

The Library of the Religious Society of Friends is funded solely by the Society and does not receive any public funding. If you would like to make a donation to support this work please Contact the Library for further information.
