New Recording Clerk

Gillian Ashmore has been appointed as the next Recording Clerk and will be taking up her new post in June.

Gillian has worked for a wide range of organisations. Since leaving the civil service in 1998 Gillian has undertaken a variety of short-term roles with various organisations and including the Equal Opportunities Commission, the Home Office and the Fostering Network. She currently works for an arts centre in East London, bringing international artists into contact with the local community.

In the latest issue of  Quaker News she speaks to John Fitzgerald about what led her to apply for the job, and what she looks forward to about her new role.
