Israel/Palestine: Ecumenical Accompaniers appointed for 2006

12  Ecumenical Accompaniers (EA) have been appointed go to Israel-Palestine in 2006. The aim of the Ecumenical Accompaniers Programme in Israel/Palestine (EAPPI) is to offer a protective presence, solidarity and advocacy alongside Palestinians and Israelis working nonviolently to end the occupation.

The appointed EAs will be leaving in February, April, July and September and will serve for three months. Each EA will be part of a small team composed of three or four persons from any of the eleven other countries involved in the programme.  When they return they will be available for public speaking engagements.
