Geoffrey Durham: Book launch

Bang in the middle of Quaker Week, the Quaker Centre on Euston Road full to exploding for the launch of Geoffrey Durham’s book: The Spirit of Quakers. Why is this book so important? Geoffrey, a magician and broadcaster of forty years, has pulled together key writings from the last 350 years to express what Quakerism has meant and means today in this absorbing collection. The book is highly accessible, each writing is introduced simply and personally by Geoffrey. Terry Waite describes it as '…captivating'.

On Sunday 10 October 7.35am on BBC Radio 2, on the Good Morning Sunday (offsite link - new window) programme, Aled Jones will be talking to Geoffrey about his new anthology and what it means to be a Quaker.

Having trouble placing Geoffrey? He was one of the nine Quakers who featured on the Quaker Week website in 2008. To see all nine Quakers talking about what attracted them to Quaker meetings, please go to the 2008 Quaker Week site (offsite link - new window).
