Welsh Quaker Catherine James has set off on her pilgrimage to York, to the Yearly Meeting Gathering. She left Tabor on Friday 3 July and should reach York on 25 July. She set off from the meeting house created by Dorothy Owen, who walked from Wales to London to Quakers’ Yearly Meeting, twice in the 1780s.
