Fairtrade at Friends House
Friends House in London uses Fairtrade products wherever possible. Amongst other things we use tea, bananas and sugar. We source our Fairtrade coffee from Kingdom Coffee in Berkshire. Even the uniforms
worn by our hospitality staff is made from Fairtrade cotton.
In the Quaker Centre we have a dedicated section selling Fairtrade products, such as chocolate, olive oil, almonds, olives and snack bars. For Fairtrade Fortnight 2012 we will be running promotions and special offers in our restaurant and Cafe, both open to the public.
For further information or help with campaigning on Fairtrade issues please contact Suzanne Ismail; suzannei@quaker.org.uk or telephone: 020 7663 1055
Write about and share your experiences with other Quakers on the Quakernomics blog.
