What can Quakers do about militarism?

7 May 2016, Glasgow

What can Quakers do about Militarism: a workshop to explore how Friends can increase public awareness, debate and scrutiny of militarisation in society.

What can Quakers do about militarism?

Militarism has existed in Britain for a long time, but in recent years there has been an increase in the promotion of militarism across areas of civil society including education, services for young people and initiatives such as the creation of Armed Forces Day. What action can Quakers take to challenge this alarming trend?

Facilitated by Sam Walton, Peace & Disarmament Programme Manager, Quaker Peace & Social Witness
