Gerrard Winstanley, True Leveller and Digger, dreamed of turning the land into a common treasury. John Lilburne, Leveller leader, made community and equality political demands in the English revolution. Both became first-generation Quakers. What can Friends today make of their inspiring legacy, in our own quest for the good life, practical equality and a new sense of community? A course for all who are ready to be inspired by the links between their social justice agenda and ours.
