Friends House in London uses Fairtrade products wherever possible. Amongst other things we use tea, bananas and sugar. We source our Fairtrade coffee from Kingdom Coffee in Berkshire. Even the uniforms worn by our hospitality staff is made from Fairtrade cotton.

Fairtrade Fortnight is 27 February - 1 March 2012

As part of our commitment to highlight and challenge the injustices of the present economic system, QPSW supports Fairtrade. In addition, many Local or Area Quaker Meetings have committed to use Fairtrade products and have achieved, or are working towards gaining Fairtrade Church or Fairtrade Denominational Area status.
