The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain refers to the church in Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, in its entirety, including all the 481 local meetings for worship as well as all their work.

Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) is the name of the charity that is responsible for the centrally organised work.

Yearly Meeting in session refers to the annual assembly that is open to all members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain. Like most other Quaker Yearly Meetings around the world, BYM publishes a range of literature ranging from a compilation of commentary on current Quaker attitudes to a guidebook to the organisation.
