Preparation

Our house is pretty full of YMG preparation right now, with papers all over the place.  Each of the family has their own tasks to see to.  Mine has been organising the Information Desk volunteers rota. 

It started off feeling like a chore but the warm messages I have had from Friends have made it a more and more pleasurable task as the week has gone on.    "Yes of course I can do that",  "I don't mind missing that session", "call on me whenever you need me", "happy to help", "thanks".  The warmth, love and generosity of time have made all the juggling a surprisingly pleasurable task. 

It's finished enough that I can put it down now until Saturday.  There is other preparation to do, both practical and spiritual.  Perhaps I'll start by finding all the right bits of paper.....
