BBC Radio 2 - Geoffrey Durham on what it means to be a Quaker
During Quaker Week, on Sunday 10 October 7.35am on BBC Radio 2, on the Good Morning Sunday programme, Aled Jones plans to interview Quaker Geoffrey Durham. They will talk about what it means to be a Quaker. They will talk about the new anthology, compiled by Geoffrey, called The Spirit of the Quakers, launched on 6 October. It includes quotations from well-known Quakers such as George Fox, William Penn, John Greenleaf Whittier, Elizabeth Fry and John Woolman, as well as many up-to-date authors. Geoffrey Durham has been a broadcaster and magician for more than forty years and was a founding member of Quaker Quest.
