The following details are for appointed representatives and deputies only.

If you are not the appointed representative/deputy for your area meeting, please refer to your area meeting clerk to discuss possible attendance at the council. For further information please contact the secretary of Quaker Life Representative Council prior to booking. All bookings must be made in advance, no bookings on the day.

Arrival & departure times

Arrivals are from 4pm onwards on Friday, 13 April.

Dinner will be at 6.15pm.

Our first session will be at 7.30pm.

Our last session on Sunday ends at 11.30am.

This will be followed by Meeting for Worship which ends at 12.30 and lunch at 12.45pm. You are welcome to leave as suits you, we know that many of you will have long journeys ahead of you and that Sunday train timetables may provide few options for you.

News from Meetings

News from meetings is a valuable way for Quaker Life and representatives to keep in touch with what is going on around the country and to share the joys, struggles and ideas that come out of our Meetings. We won’t have a session dedicated to news from meetings at this Rep Council but we shall be displaying any contributions that we receive on a notice board throughout the weekend.

You can submit news from meetings, either via filling out the enclosed News from Meetings form and returning it before 5 March 2012 via post to: Aidan Fallon, Quaker Life, Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ, or to save costs and delays, via our online news from meetings form at: www.quaker.org.uk/QLRC-news-form.

Deadline for bookings: 5 March 2012 Places are limited so please book early.

All booking forms including workshop prefrences can be found here.

Please book now for your place at the Quaker Life Representative Council on 13-15 March 2012. This council is being held at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre.

The council offers an opportunity for group work, sharing and exploration of issues related to our meetings. More information will be circulated in due course.

Please pass the invoice to your treasurer for payment before 5 March.
